This role support the design and build of SitusAMC’s portfolio of commercial real estate technologies that includes both internal software applications and industry leading origination and asset management enterprise SaaS applications used by large banks and lenders. This role works closely with Product Owners and Senior Business Analysts to support the design and delivery of new, innovative features for our current customers and the product roadmap. Business Analysts are embedded within agile teams, taking an active role in creating and maintaining user stories, supporting the agile development and QA team, and ensuring the successful completion of each sprint.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support the development of new features by writing requirements and designs in the form of agile user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Drive customer discovery to understand how our customers do their jobs, their use cases, and how our technology can make their jobs better; serve as the voice of the customer when designing and building new features for CLOSER

  • Support the agile development team during sprints by clarifying user stories, addressing their questions, and assisting with testing as needed

  • Other activities as may be assigned by your manager

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experienced professional with 5+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at a Senior Analyst or Analyst level role or external equivalent

  • 2-4 years with background in technology, software development, banking, finance, real estate, or related field

  • 1 to 3 years in a role responsible for designing, building, or implementing software applications

  • 2+ years’ experience with at least two of these competencies: UX/UI design; data analysis using SQL, R, or similar tools; writing business requirements or user stories to build a software application; project management or agile leadership; financial modeling in Microsoft Excel, VBA experience; business intelligence, data visualization and reporting

  • Experience working on agile-based, cross-functional software development teams

  • Experience designing and building enterprise, SaaS software applications is preferred

  • Knowledge or experience working in commercial real estate or commercial lending is preferred

  • Excited to work with customers and users to understand their jobs and where technology can improve their work in meaningful ways

  • Team player and known for taking initiative; does what it takes to help the team succeed; actively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement

  • Very organized and detail-oriented

  • Highly analytical with a passion for studying and solving problems with technology

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to explain complex concepts and facilitate agreement across different points of view

  • Thrives in collaborative and dynamic work environments; can comfortably manage ambiguity and changing priorities

  • Able to comfortably switch between analyzing and explaining problems at a strategic, high-level and at a detailed level

  • The employee may be required to report to a different local office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of their employment

The annual full time base salary range for this role is ($70,000 - $85,000). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
