The Assistant General Manager | Mar Muntanya responsibilities may include:
Support and assist in managing Mar Muntanya, an Award Winning Spanish upscale restaurant , within our hotel, while working closely with the Food & Beverage Managers and other departments within our hotel
Planning and coordination of special events within the restaurant
May be responsible for ordering and maintaining par levels
Scheduling, forecasting and payroll processing for all colleagues within the department
Hiring, training, coaching and mentoring of service colleagues
Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as operational standards
Responsible for maintaining a high energy, positive, professional appearance
Qualifications:
Full Time Management position that requires full flexibility; ability to work weekends and holidays with a varied schedule
Minimum of 2 years in Upscale Dining Restaurant Management preferred
A true desire to understand and anticipate the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
Candidates should be detail oriented and organized
Understanding of Utah’s liquor laws
Candidates should possess food and beverage knowledge. Beverage knowledge should include wine, spirits and beer in an upscale environment
