Intermountain Health Advanced Practice Provider Pediatric Palliative Care in Salt Lake City, Utah

Job Description:

This Advanced Practice Provider will join Rainbow Kids, the pediatric palliative care program for Primary Children’s Network. The APP will spend the majority of their time at our main campus located in Salt Lake City, Utah, with opportunity to support our newly-built Lehi, Utah campus on an as-needed basis.

Rainbow Kids is a consultation service available to any children and families who are experiencing a chronic complex condition or a life-threatening illness. The program is here to help both the child and family deal with feelings, symptoms, and concerns during a time that may be confusing and overwhelming. Our team collaborates together and with the family to create and meet treatment goals of care.

This is a part time, benefits eligible opportunity working approximately 20 hours per week.

What you’ll bring:

  • Utah State license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).

  • Utah State Controlled Substance License

  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

  • DEA Certificate II-V

  • Basic Life Support Provider Certification

  • Preferred: Prior pediatric or palliative care clinical experience

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$54.84 - $84.63
