VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Salmon School District #291 is seeking qualified candidates for the position of
Full time Bus Driver
with possibility of a benefited Route Position
Year 2024-2025
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma
Commercial Driver License is not required to apply. However, applicant must be able to obtain a CDL Class B with additional training to drive a bus.
Interpersonal skills including tact, patience, and courtesy
Clean driving record, no traffic tickets, or chargeable accidents for the last three years.
Strong Leadership and communication skills
Ability to complete required paperwork
Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with others
Knowledge of District personnel policies, rules, and regulations
Ability to handle stressful situations
Ability to effectively manage time and responsibilities
Compile and maintain accurate and complete records and reports in a timely manner
Understand and carry out oral and written instructions
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

SALARY:
\$14.70 per hour depending on experience

Compliance with Department of Transportation physical exam and random testing is required.
