Hexagon Agility is currently seeking an entry-level Project Manager to work out of our Salisbury, NC office.
Overview:
The Project Manager will oversee the completion of project tasks, monitor adherence to project management process standards, follow up on open items and track issues. This will require building knowledge of the best practices for project administration and applying this to core duties including resource allocation, task planning and progress reporting. The work may include a mix of direct responsibility leading smaller projects and/or leading one or more workstreams within a complex program under direct guidance of a Program Manager.
Typical Duties:
Assist with tasks related to new project development (i.e. scoping, tender documentation, quoting etc.)
Management of projects from the offer phase to the start of series production
Construct & maintain an integrated project schedule that demonstrates the work breakdown structure and key milestones necessary to complete the project or program
Monitor work efforts, assign resources, delegate tasks and report progress to program managers, senior managers and various stakeholders
Ensure compliance to deliverables within Agility’s procedures, including design reviews and other related procedures or work instructions
Support risk management activities, coordinating the resolution of issues and risks, recommending escalation as required
Perform all other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Must be highly self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
The role requires superb organizational skills and keen attention to detail
Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with diverse audiences, in both oral and written contexts, and be comfortable giving and receiving feedback
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint).
Flexible and ability to work with tight deadlines in an ever-changing environment.
Ability to handle multiple jobs and adapt to a rapidly changing work environment with fluctuating priorities
Valid passport with ability to travel
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Proficiency with Microsoft Project
Working knowledge of Microsoft Project Portfolio Management and SharePoint
Working knowledge of ERP systems, (IFS preferred).
Willingness to learn other software (i.e. CAD viewers, PM tools)
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, & filing cabinets.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This position may work in the plant and outdoors in the field, therefore subject to all weather conditions sometimes include extreme cold and heat. The work described while working in the plant or field will require wearing all PPE depending on circumstance which may include safety glasses, hard hat, ear protection, leather gloves, safety vest and steel toed boots. There is some travel that may be required by car, bus, train or plane.
