Army National Guard Units LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32) in Salisbury, North Carolina
Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2059000 and is part of the NC ASO, National Guard (ASO-AASF #2 / MD 1221-424). Responsibilities As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-09, you will plan and coordinate all matters pertaining to new and displaced equipment fielding, equipment readiness, and provide guidance and miscellaneous logistic/training fielding support to the Major Commands and subordinate elements; oversee, coordinate and administer the logistic/training functions by developing and issuing policy guidance on new/displaced equipment fielding matters including receipt, storage, deprocessing, issue, and property accountability; monitor the status of deprocessing of new equipment being fielded; coordinate maintenance support by external organizations for deprocessing. Coordinate internal maintenance support for deprocessing; develop budget estimates for New/Displaced Equipment Fielding and Training; be responsible as the Sub-Program Manager for monitoring and maintaining the NET/DET budget Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted (E8 and below) Minimum Requirements: Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 24 months experience, education, or training involving detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). Experience integrating actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to meet program goals. Experience interpreting and applying regulations, laws or practices. Experience planning and organizing work assignments. Education You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
