Summary

We are recruiting for a Litigation Paralegal. Our growing legal department is seeking a seasoned paralegal with extensive experience in e-discovery, litigation, and document production. The role reports to the Senior Legal Operations Manager and will work closely with attorneys responsible for litigation and regulatory administrative matters. This position also involves frequent cross-functional collaboration with the finance, risk, IT, commercial, procurement, and human resources team.

The salary range for this position is $73,000 - $109,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Litigation and E-Discovery Support

  • Draft and issue litigation hold notifications.

  • Utilize e-discovery platforms to process, analyze, and produce electronic documents.

  • Assist with preservation of electronically stored information (ESI) for litigation or anticipated legal matters.

  • Coordinate and manage the collection, organization, review, Bates stamping and production of documents for litigation and regulatory matters.

  • Conduct thorough document reviews to identify relevant, privileged or confidential materials.

  • Create and maintain privilege logs and prepare redacted versions of documents.

  • Ensure all document productions adhere to specified deadlines.

  • Provide other general litigation support as needed, including legal research.

Subpoena and Document Management

  • Review subpoenas and coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify responsive documents or information.

  • Draft and issue correspondence related to subpoena compliance, including objections or extensions.

  • Coordinate the retrieval of records from various departments to ensure accurate and complete responses.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of all subpoena responses for tracking and audit purposes.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements

Experience : 5+ years as a paralegal in e-discovery, litigation, and corporate matters within a law firm or corporate legal department.

Education : Paralegal certificate required; advanced certifications preferred.

Skills :

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, support multiple attorneys, and manage multiple projects effectively.

  • Proficiency in word processing, e-discovery tools, legal research platforms, and document management systems. Experience with Microsoft Purview preferred.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
