Our Internship Program

Our summer internship program lasts 10-12 weeks beginning in May/June and ending in August/September. Your Team

The Cloud Platforms Product Management team owns the Teradata VantageCloud platform offers across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. We are responsible for driving compelling value to our customers across cloud provider compute, storage, and networking areas. We also focus heavily on providing an innovative and cost competitive platform to the market.

What You’ll Do

  • As Cloud Platforms Intern, you will be on the Cloud Platforms Product Management team, which is a high impact group of technically-aligned product managers who are focused on driving differentiated value to our customers and the business.

  • You will work closely with other Product Managers, Product Engineering, Cloud Operations, and members of the Pricing and Packaging team.

  • You will develop cost models and evaluate opportunities for cost efficiencies within the product across the cloud provider platforms of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  • Must be enrolled in BS/MS/PhD program, with a graduation date between December 2025-June 2027.

  • Experience or familiarity with cloud service providers and on premises vs cloud software offerings

  • Experience or familiarity in data warehousing, data analytics, and business intelligence or offer/product

  • Critical thinker with ability to research, prove hypothesis and sell ideas for strategic direction

  • Ability to understand customer needs and market opportunities

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to explain tough ideas in easy ways

What You'll Bring

  • Public cloud service provider experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

  • Experience with developing financial modeling and data analysis

  • Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint)

  • Relational database experience (SQL)

  • Experience or familiarity in data warehousing, data analytics, and business intelligence or offer/product

  • Critical thinker with ability to research, prove hypothesis and sell ideas for strategic direction

  • Ability to understand customer needs and market opportunities

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to explain tough ideas in easy ways

Pay Rate: $29.00 - $44.00 - $50.00 Hourly
