About the Job
Required Qualifications
Required BS in Engineering or related field with (advanced degree in Engineering preferred)
Up to 5 years of process and operations management experience
Ability to learn and improve technology, cost, and efficiency in a small established area of the Lime business.
Perform Process Audits of Equipment on a regimented basis
Measure, track, and leverage energy and fuel streams to optimize cost and satisfy quality goals
Provide leadership to plant operators by forming Plans of control around process
Establish and study key Process control parameters
Aide in Operations understanding of deviation from these parameters
Work with Process Controls engineers to use and maintain PLC tools to reduce variation in process.
Understand and use statistical tools to reduce variation in assigned area
Essential Functions
Aides Operations in maintaining stability, studying, and correcting deviations, and providing technical basis for plant at the front line.
Supports and leads front line improvements and control management.
Leader of Quality Pillar team at the Site, unless Process Eng II assigned to the area
Work with Quality Department to audit, improve, and maintain the process’s measurement system
Perform Gage RnR testing on measurement systems in the plant
Lead, train, and qualify hourly employees on performing Quantitative Analysis of products
Customer Focus
Supply technical support to Operations unit manager and Operations team leaders
Lead Process meetings to keep operators on the same page
Calculate capability of meeting target specifications for products
Project Management
Perform inspections on equipment while offline
Aid in long-term maintenance plan, maintain records and process data analyzing strategy as it relates to the process.
Work with maintenance to maintain equipment to reduce process variation
Manage small capital projects while maintaining all other duties.
Range $25,000 - $100,000
Do not sacrifice the process at the expense of project execution
