The King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort (https://www.kingandprince.com/)  has an opportunity for a Lead Laundry Attendant. As a Lead Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Laundry Facility in a working supervisor role with minimal office work. 

The essential duties and responsibilities include: 

• Work with the Director of Facilities to meet monthly budget requirements for staffing and supplies.

• Oversee monthly linen inventory in conjunction with the Housekeeping Manager.

• Loading articles into the washer separating dirty linen according to size and type setting the washer to proper cleaning setting and ensuring cleaning solutions are being correctly pumped into the washer. 

• Inspect laundered items for stains, tears, and overall quality; record all discarded linen and account for items in linen inventory.

• Train all newly hired staff and provide ongoing training to all existing staff.

• Suggest, implement, and oversee engagement programs for staff members.

• Record all discarded linen and account for items in the linen inventory.

• Lifts clean, wet articles from the washer and places them successively into driers for measured time cycles. 

• Will use a commercial iron to press and fold dried linen and stack it onto carts according to size and type of linen. 

• To provide transport of laundry to and from The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort via laundry truck. 

• Performs routine preventive maintenance on commercial laundry equipment.

• Maintain a clean and organized facility.
