YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg Preschool Teacher Assistant, Speer YMCA Preschool Academy in Saint Petersburg, Florida
Must have the following in order to apply:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of MODS (Introductory Child Care Training, Part 1 and 2 certification)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with preschool aged children and the ability to work in a team environment.

Job Description: We are currently hiring for a part-time Teacher Assistant at the Speer YMCA Preschool Academy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists Pre-School Teachers with classroom coverage
- Implements curriculum within the established guidelines.
- Leads activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling.
- Establishes and enforces rules.
- Assist children including supervising meal times, playground times and free play.
