Insight Global Senior Staff Accountant in Saint Peters, Missouri
Job Description
An employer is looking for an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This person ideally comes from one of the big four firms. This role is 100% on site at either their St. Peters, Missouri, or Lakewood, Colorado, location.
Performing quarterly financial analysis (i.e., budget vs. actual, period over period
fluctuation analysis, etc.)
Developing and maintaining executive reporting dashboards
Preparing financial analyses for strategic company decisions (e.g., acquisitions)
Enhancing control documentation and improving overall control environment
Analyzing and evaluating complex accounting guidance
Preparing month-end workpapers & journal entries for the companys more
complicated accounting areas (ASC 606, Reserves, etc.)
Daily/Weekly/Monthly responsibilities including various reconciliations
Involved in the monitoring and monthly reporting of banking compliance covenants
Heavily involved in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
2+ years of public accounting experience
Experience working at one of the big four firms. (Deloitte, EY, PWC, KPMG)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. CPA designation null
