Fujifilm Technical Marketing Manager in Saint Paul, Minnesota
Overview
The Technical Marketing Manager (TMM) is the subject matter expert related to photofinishing solutions (kiosk, printers, digital workflow, consumables), understanding the details of products and systems, use of products, the requirements of the customer and Fujifilm to support the account and create and drive sales opportunities for Fujifilm. The TMM will build positive long-term relationships with the account and Fujifilm stakeholder (sales, service, software and product teams; product management, product marketing) to ensure quality product delivery that meets the needs of the account(s). The TMM is responsible for strategic hardware, software, and product development for the assigned account(s) and overall customer satisfaction of technical products. The TMM works closely with the product management, software development, and technical service teams to develop, test, and deploy new solutions. The TMM is also the technical advisor to the sales team for the account and will present new revenue generating products/initiatives to the account(s).
FUJIFILM North America Corporation, a marketing subsidiary of FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation, consists of six operating divisions. The Imaging Division provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services, including silver halide consumables; inkjet consumables; digital printing equipment, along with service and support; personalized photo products fulfillment; film; one-time-use cameras; and the popular INSTAX® line of instant cameras, smartphone printers, instant film, and accessories . The Electronic Imaging Division markets its GFX System and X Series lines of mirrorless digital cameras, lenses, and accessories to provide a variety of content creation solutions for both still and moving imagery. The Optical Devices Division provides optical lenses for the broadcast, cinematography, closed circuit television, videography, and industrial markets, and also markets binoculars and other optical imaging solutions. The Graphic Communication Division utilizes its extensive industry knowledge to develop fully supported traditional and digital print solutions for industries including commercial print, wide format, and packaging with its comprehensive line of digital inkjet presses, production toner printers, and software. The Industrial Products Division delivers new products derived from Fujifilm technologies including data storage tape products, including OEM and FUJIFILM Ultrium LTO cartridges, desalination solutions, microfilters and gas separation membranes. The Non-Destructive Testing Division delivers radiography solutions to ensure high accuracy inspection of transportation infrastructure, and assets within aerospace, and oil and gas industries.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with key account leadership team
Be the subject matter expert for the account for photofinishing solutions ( including Fujifilm or third-party workflow solutions; kiosk, workflow routing, imaging network(s), printing technologies, Fujifilm printer operations, consumable use and quality optimization ), to understand and communicate:
product functionality and operation
customer use and process optimization
how the product is marketed for new and existing SKUs (manufacturing, logistics, technical)
customer buying personas and requirements (management hierarchy, store associate, consumer)
competitor products (features, differences, advantages)
Coordinate two-way communication between the account and Fujifilm for all product technical requirements and issues, ensuring “one voice"
Communicate the account’s configuration of store operations, technical use of products and business strategies to Fujifilm stakeholder groups.
Product development:
Understand the account(s) operations; work directly with the account and Fujifilm teams to identify new revenue generating solutions and/or products to be introduced to the account.
Meet with the account(s) to document new features and new product requests and identify account priorities.
Author scope documents/statements of work for projects to provide new solutions and general product marketing projects.
Champion the needs of the account within the overall Fujifilm portfolio prioritization process.
Product delivery:
Author scope documents/statements of work for photofinishing projects (software, hardware, consumable) and general technical marketing projects.
Work directly with product management, software development, and service to determine software development schedules, roadmaps and priorities as required.
Develop project plans for account technical projects.
Support
Provide technical guidance for day-to-day account needs, including troubleshooting customer use of Fujifilm products.
Provide “expert” support to Fujifilm service providers and vendors to ensure delivery of quality service, meeting the customers’ requirements.
Assist internal Fujifilm teams with field tests of new equipment, software, and consumables.
Develop training aids to support the customer use and operation of photofinishing solutions and consumables to drive adoption and use.
Work directly and indirectly with the account(s) to evaluate solutions (equipment, software, consumables) understanding the store operation processes.
Assist the Product Marketing team with product launches.
Required Skills/Education
Education
Associate’s degree in marketing and/or technical discipline
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
5+ years’ experience in a technical marketing or product role
Experience in defining, planning, and executing solutions for large scale retail accounts
A proven track record in learning new technologies with the ability to clearly communicate their value proposition.
The ability to speak with the customer and drive internal stakeholders to develop what is required.
Experience and success at creating statements of work, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
Experience in coordinating multiple teams to deliver and support products and services
Understanding of digital image definitions and processes is helpful as well as a background in technical service in the photographic industry.

Salary and Benefits: (Include for roles that are/can be based in NY and CO)
$90,000 depending on experience
