Description

We are looking for a skilled Sr. Project Manager to join our team in the non-profit industry, located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role will primarily focus on evaluating, designing, and implementing strategic plans to transform our programs and services. You will work extensively with various stakeholders, from executives to program managers, to best align our programs and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, design, and implement a strategic plan to transform our programs and services to better serve our constituents

• Define and manage processes and staff engagement for key focus areas

• Engage with executives, program directors, program managers, and line-level staff to determine how the organization can best align its programs and processes.

• Monitor and manage budget processes to ensure financial viability and effectiveness of projects.

• Oversee project deliverables and ensure their alignment with the strategic plan.

• Develop change management strategies and processes to ensure smooth transitions during project implementation.

• Design and execute evaluation processes to assess the effectiveness of the implemented strategies.

• Leverage cross-functional project management skills to ensure effective collaboration across different teams.

• Establish trust and buy-in from stakeholders at many levels, ensuring emotional intelligence and commitment to the mission-driven work.

• Maintain an accurate record of project management processes, changes, and outcomes for future reference and learning.

Requirements

• Strong preference for demonstrated experience in change management within a large ($50M+) nonprofit organization

• Proven ability to deliver project deliverables on time and with lasting results

• Experience with design and implementation of projects, including management of project teams

• Strong skills in change management, including ability to lead teams through periods of significant organizational change

• Familiarity with various evaluation processes and ability to use these to monitor and report on project progress

• Experience in cross functional project management, including ability to work effectively with various departments and stakeholders within a non-profit organization

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

• Proven problem-solving abilities and ability to think strategically and analytically

• Strong leadership skills, including ability to motivate and manage a team effectively

• Ability to work independently and take initiative, but also to collaborate effectively in a team environment

• Proficiency with relevant project management software and technologies

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required, Master's degree preferred.
