TEKsystems Service Desk Technician in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Description

• Initial response and information gathering for all I.T. requests and reported incidents. • Basic troubleshooting and triage of all reported system issues, maintain appropriate documentation, and follow the escalation process. • Ensures the highest level of customer service is provided to users through the timely response, accurate resolution, and personable fulfillment of requests made through Service Desk. • Assist with user training on new software and hardware. • Purchase, install, and maintain PC equipment, including hardware and software. • Perform User administration, including account creation, and password maintenance. • Ensures compliance with established service levels. • Create and maintain excellent documentation of processes, systems, and standards. • Communicate and uphold company and department policies and procedures, always maintaining a safe and secure work environment. • Seeks learning opportunities to further knowledge and skills. • Always conducts themselves in a safe and professional manner. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be a strong communicator, both written and verbal. • Must be detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills. • Possess the ability to work well with all levels of staff. • Must be able to configure and maintain local and remote laptops and desktops. • Must have a strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office. • Familiarity with various Windows operating systems. • Familiarity with mobile technologies. • Basic network troubleshooting skills. • Participate in on-call rotation. • Must be able to lift 50 pounds in a team lift. • Associates Degree minimum in field.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00
