Element Materials Technology Project Manager in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Project Manager Job Locations Work From Your Own Home ID 2024-14217 Overview Element has an opportunity for a Project Manager. This role is a key function in servicing our clients by ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to their demands, delivering efficient and excellent performance. The Program Manager will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives and overseeing innovation projects within our business unit. This individual will collaborate across teams to translate ideas into action, accelerate the adoption of new technologies, and enhance the customer experience. Responsibilities Leadership Partner with the BU leadership team to define strategic priorities, identify internal capability gaps, and recommend innovative solutions Develop persuasive presentations and reports to effectively communicate complex ideas and strategic recommendations to senior management Support managing identified projects and priorities to closure withing cross entity and cross functional teams Operational Optimization Lead internal innovation initiatives, in cooperation with BU leadership and lab teams, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and enhance cross-departmental collaboration Research and propose the adoption of new technologies (software, platforms, tools) to drive productivity and efficiency gains Oversee internal innovation projects, setting milestones, managing resource allocation, and ensuring successful implementation Collaborate closely with operations, sales, and finance teams to develop integrated operational planning tools that maximize resource utilization and support financial goals (LIMS implementation) Improvement initiatives, support streamlining of workflows, reducing bottlenecks, and driving measurable efficiency increases Project Management Facilitate strategic planning sessions, providing expert guidance, thought leadership, and actionable frameworks for teams to develop plans Design and manage complex internal projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion and aligning with broader strategic outcomes Spearhead the implementation of Digital Enablement plans, streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency Lead successful multi-site LIMS implementations, ensuring seamless integration across diverse entities Champion operational efficiency initiatives in conjunction with LIMS implementations, delivering measurable improvements Conceptualize and drive implementation of automations, dashboards, and AI/ML technologies, boosting productivity and achieving annual improvement targets Facilitated smooth change management across multiple labs, fostering alignment with LIMS implementations and process enhancements Supervisory Responsibilities Manage and mentor assigned staff as needed Skills / Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, a related field, or equivalent experience Program Management Certification A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably within the consumer products industry Demonstrated success leading customer-facing teams, managing RFPs, and developing pricing strategies Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on data-driven insights and collaboration Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and Experience with project management software Ability to interpret testing procedures and customer requirements Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Company Overview Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
