Job Summary: As a Payroll Clerk, you will compile and post employee time and payroll data, computing employees work time. This is a hybrid position; candidate must reside in MN. Primary Responsibilities: Compile employee time, and payroll data from time sheets. Review time sheets, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies. Distribute and collect timecards each pay period. Keep track of leave time, such as vacation, sick leave for employees. Process and issue employee pay statements of earnings and deductions. Process W4 and Direct Deposit into payroll software. Perform customer service functions in person, by phone or by email assisting PICS' customers with their questions or requests, or by directing them to the appropriate resource. Assist with ensuring responsive customer service by following up any request or issue to resolution. Payroll - Drop expenses, mileage reports and timesheets into Share Point from scan drop folder. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: Payroll experience preferred. High school diploma (or equivalent) required; some college preferred. Must be well-organized and detail-oriented to complete work correctly and in a timely manner. Analytical, investigative, and organizational skills. Must have strong communication skills (listening, speaking and writing). Strong interpersonal skills. Microsoft skills (Excel, Word). Strong ten key skills.
