Position Overview: The HR Service Center Representative is responsible for delivering accurate, high-quality, and personalized customer service to associates, candidates, retirees, people leaders, and HR Business Partners. The HR Service Center Representatives receive and respond to inquiries and transaction requests regarding HCM system, payroll, benefits, compensation, employee relations, talent acquisition, HR policies, and general human resources matters to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities: - Address inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, health and wellness benefits. - Assist employees, managers, and HR with self-service features of our HCM system, ensuring inquiries are resolved effectively. - Determine when to escalate complex situations. - Conduct background research and follow-up activities for unresolved requests, coordinating with functional specialists and external vendors as needed. - Ensure professional and timely responses to telephone calls, emails, chats, and walk-in contacts. Administer HR policies and procedures across multiple functional areas. - Work with other HR Service Center team members to resolve unique and complicated associate issues and implement process and procedural improvements. - Perform HR administration and benefits transactions in Workday and other applications, meeting established performance standards. Qualifications: - Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize workload. - Strong communication skills, including effective listening, patience, and empathy to understand employee perspectives. - Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to interact with various levels of business leadership, users, and functional teams. - Flexibility to handle changing work demands. Physical Job Requirements: - Ability to use a keyboard, computer, and mouse for up to 8 hours per day. - Ability to work at least 40 hours per week. - Ability to utilize phone and virtual meeting platforms for 2-4 hours per day. - Ability to perform grasping tasks throughout the workday (e.g., handwriting, handling equipment/machines, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, handling stacks of paper).
