Job Description The Director, Product & Software Engineering role is responsible for leading a team of product engineers in the development and delivery of digital and cloud-enabled products and services to internal and external customers. A successful leader in this role will execute and implement best practices in agile methodologies, DevSecOps, and API-enabled service delivery. Leveraging the capabilities of the public cloud and cloud-native architecture, this role will ensure value-add benefit to customers at scale and speed. This position will report to the Chief Technology Officer. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the engineering teams responsible for Bremer's Digital Experience (Cloud-native, Full-Stack, Native Mobile, and responsive web front-end applications, APIs ,and integrations). Execute techincal operations of products and services build by product engineering; collaborate on developing SLAs and SLOs. Drive a delivery-oriented culture. Manage budget for engineering group. Develop, drive, and lead execution of next-generation product engineering and DevSecOps practice. Develop and lead workshops to educate, train, and enable adoption of DevSecOps; Ci/CD; GitOps; cloud-native application design, delivery and re-factoring. Collaborate with business partners on design of organizational processes and standards. Partner with senior leaders, buisiness partners, and customers. Provide managerial leadership and support to full time and contractor team members Demonstrate commitment to Bremer's risk management approach including compliance with all applicable industry regulations, state and federal regulations, Bremer's policies and procedures, and completion of all required training. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors' degree and 12+ of relevant experience 8+ years of proven work experience as a software developer. 5+ years leading, managing, and directing terms with digital, customer-facing, internet delivered experiences. Advanced working knowledge and extensive experience in programming and software design fundamentals. Experience with data security and/or regulatory data compliance. HIPAA, NIST, PCI, etc. Experience with DevSecOps practices such as infrastructure-as-Code(IaC); Continuous Integration; continuous automated deployment; test-driven development; and configuration management. Extensive experience in developing within cloud-based environments such as Amazon Web Services (Highly Preferred), Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure with emphasis on serverless (FaaS) and microservice architectures #LI-hybrid, #LI-JT1 Bremer Values & Benefits Our Values Collaboration: We work elbow-to-elbow with our customers, making a difference for them in good times and bad.
