The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

Summary of Role:

  • As a Director of Infrastructure Architecture, you will be a member of the RTX enterprise services Infrastructure Architecture leadership team. You will be a cross functional leader, driving and delivering strategic roadmaps and projects. As a first focus area, you will create the strategy and roadmap needed to deliver global ServiceNow IT Asset management capabilities (CMDB); tracking IT/OT hardware, software, and configuration management. You will enable data based decision making to empower the strategic management of the RTX digital portfolio, roadmaps, and lifecycle. You will work to develop infrastructure architectural solutions and standards that meet RTX customer and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the RTX ServiceNow strategy, roadmap, integrations, and capabilities.

  • Be a RTX infrastructure technology leader. Lead cross functional architecture projects to deliver solutions for RTX customers and business needs. Partner closely with Application, Data, and Cyber Security teams.

  • Consulting. Strong listening and presenting skills. Ability to communicate effectively to C-level executives, business/technology leaders, and engineers.

  • Utilize data to drive critical Digital projects, roadmaps, and lifecycle improvements.

  • Advocate for innovative and new platform capabilities, data integrations, and solutions.

  • Develop Enterprise Architecture artifacts, standards, and roadmaps. Ensure enterprise reference architectures, systems of record, and data are leveraged across all of RTX.

  • Continuously learn; Update enterprise architecture based on shifts in business needs and technology innovation

  • Lead technical proof of concepts/proof of value to validate architectural and technology decisions

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12-14 years of large scale solution architecture or enterprise architecture experience,

  • Minimum 12-14 years of Architect level certification/s or equivalent experience in ServiceNow or equivalent IT Service Management/CMDB platforms

  • Minimum 12-14 years of managing and motivating technical teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified technical architect

  • Certified Architect or TOGAF certified preferred

  • Experience driving technology innovation in complex enterprise companies

  • Strong technical acumen; domain competencies in Infrastructure, Applications, Cyber, and Data architecture

  • Experience in managing and motivating technical teams; Problem solving using innovative techniques.

  • Proven experience of creating measurable outcomes and producing products/services with measurable business value

  • Proven experience collaborating across the enterprise to resolve complex technical issues

  • Proven experience in evaluating technical standards and associated impacts; understanding when they are applicable and creating implementation roadmaps

  • Proven experience with leading, mentoring, and coaching technical engineers and architects to deliver results

  • Ability to express complex technical and process concepts in business terms and communicate to various disciplined audiences

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Education:

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience

The salary range for this role is 171,000 USD - 343,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
