Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an Assembly Technician who is open to working independently as well as part of a team. The role involves hand assembly of filters and components of compression gas products and medical instruments using basic hand tools and machinery. This position includes tasks such as operating molding press machines, packaging, labeling, and documentation. The work will be performed in a semi-clean room environment, with mostly standing and repetitive tasks. All tasks can be taught, making this an ideal role for someone motivated to grow with a growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hand assembly of filters and components using basic hand tools.

  • Operate molding press machines.

  • Package and label products accurately.

  • Document assembly processes and maintain records.

  • Work in a semi-clean room environment, adhering to cleanliness standards.

  • Perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods.

  • Be flexible and willing to be moved around to different tasks as needed.

  • Hand dexterity

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to operate basic machinery

  • Ability to label and package products

  • Capability to follow assembly instructions and blueprints

  • Mechanical assembly skills

  • Proficiency with hand tools

  • Ability to read and speak English fluently

  • Ability to stand for 8 hours

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ months of work history

  • Willingness to work in a clean room environment (no makeup, fingernail polish)

  • Experience with medical assembly is a plus

Work Environment

The work environment is clean, spacious, and climate-controlled, providing a very comfortable setting. You will work in a semi-clean room environment, wearing PPE such as safety glasses, a gown, and a hairnet. The company provides all necessary PPE. You may be involved in small part assembly for both medical and aviation industries. The team is small, fostering a family-like atmosphere and a supportive work culture.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00
