TKDA Architecture Technician II in Saint Paul, Minnesota

In this position you will collaborate with a variety of professionals on a number of diverse projects. For this opportunity, we are seeking a qualified candidate who currently resides or plans to relocate within a regular commuting distance of our office in Saint Paul, MN. TKDA New HQ | 2025 Responsibilities Collaborate with Architects and Designers to prepare detailed drawings (site plans, floor layout plans, elevations, building sections, and wall details) Prepare detailed drawings using Revit, AutoCAD and Sketchup Redline drafting and identifying redlines made by other team members Prepare project dimensions, elevations, and quantities Assist with plan reviews, building code research and draft specifications, transmittals, and other project documentation Conduct building surveys and field verifications, when needed Required Qualifications Associate degree in Architectural Technology or related field of study 5 to 10 years of drafting and modeling experience Proficiency with Revit, Sketchup, and AutoCAD to produce construction documentation, graphic presentations, and 3D renderings Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook) Working knowledge of building codes and regulations Strong working knowledge of building systems, construction methods / practices, material application, the preparation and assembly of construction documentation, and interpretation of construction plans Ability to travel as needed for building surveys, construction administration, field inspections/verifications, etc.; Occasional overnight travel may be required Notice to Recruiters and Placement Agencies TKDA will not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or placement agencies unless a service agreement is in place.
