Position Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring quality food and service are being provided by the staff at The View. Reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director.

Essential Job Functions: The list that follows is not intended to be comprehensive: it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. Employee will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor.

• Keeps the Food and Beverage staff busy with prep, stocking and work area cleanliness.
• Make sure staff is in proper uniform and appears professional at all times.
• Resolves employee disputes and maintains a positive working environment.
• Maintains excellent customer service and resolves customer complaints.
• Maintains the Food and Beverage staff numbers at all times.
• Completes shift reports and employee incident reports.
• Trains new and current employees.
• Responsible for till set-up and close-out.
• Takes complete charge of the department in the absence of the Director or Managers.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior restaurant experience.
• Good communication, math, and writing skills.

• Physical requirements - ability to lift up to 50 lbs., ability to stand for long periods of time, may be exposed to second-hand smoke.

  EMPLOYMENT STATUS: This is full-time, non-exempt hourly position with full benefits. Native American preference applies.
