GASBARRE PRODUCTS INC Aftermarket Services Coordinator in Saint Marys, Pennsylvania

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Aftermarket Services Coordinator is focused on supporting our thermal processing and metal heat treating equipment. This position involves managing aftermarket quotes and orders, coordinating field service activities, developing equipment manuals, tracking aftermarket orders, supporting inventory management, and handling both domestic and international logistics and shipping paperwork.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Handle and process aftermarket quotes and orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Review & process service technician expense reports.
  3. Maintain customer order files.
  4. Coordinate and deliver comprehensive equipment manuals to the customer.
  5. Track and report on the status of aftermarket orders including entry of shipping information & tracking numbers.
  6. Support accounting department in evaluating order backlog and WIP inventory metrics.
  7. Assist in inventory management and support including material transactions.
  8. Manage domestic and international logistics, including preparation of shipping paperwork and customs documentation.
  9. Manage international letters of credit and associated paperwork for effective acceptance and payment.
  10. Collaborate with internal departments, notably engineering and manufacturing, to ensure customer requirements are met.
  11. Assist in the processing of phone calls, greeting visitors in the office, and payment deposits.
  12. Any other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or division President.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  1. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with customers' purchasing agents, maintenance managers, and facility managers.
  2. Excellent organizational abilities.
  3. Proficiency in computer arithmetic and general computer skills.
  4. Solid problem-solving capabilities.
  5. A technical understanding of industrial furnaces and thermal processing equipment is beneficial.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or specific training in a relevant field is a plus.

Physical Requirements: This job requires extensive amounts of walking, standing, sitting.
