Job Title: Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team for construction projects based in Georgia. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves the technical application of electrical principles using appropriate equipment and implementing required safety practices.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Ensure all work is done in accordance with relevant codes.
Perform Communication Tela/Comm installation.
Handle underground utilities and conductor installation.
Execute start-up and energizing procedures of equipment.
Install and maintain fire systems.
Retrofit electrical systems in two separate projects.
Ability to provide necessary tools for electrical tasks including knife, pliers, screwdrivers, nut drivers, keyhole saw, hacksaw, hammer, level, channel locks, needle nose pliers, voltage meter/tester, tool pouch/belt, diagonal pliers, wrenches, taps, wire strippers, socket set, tape measure, side cutters, flashlight, cordless drill/impact drill, wrench set, and crescent wrench.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in conduit bending, electrical wiring, and blueprint reading.
Experience in construction, schematic reading, and cable installation.
Ability to terminate switch panels, handle low and medium voltage systems, and perform underground wiring and lighting installations.
Skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must have OSHA 10 certification - Can provide training prior to starting if dont already have.
Valid electrician's license or journeyman card preferred.
CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications required.
Training or certificates in trenching and shoring, fall protection, confined space, forklift/manlift, power actuated tools, lockout/tagout, hot work, and scissor lift/boom lift preferred.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $39.92 - $39.92/hr.
