More information is available on the company's website at: . SUMMARY Acts as an agent of broker assigned accounts, including servicing and/or solicitation activities. Manages book of business. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Responsible for renewal business and soliciting additional lines of coverage; * Service accounts and provides claims assistance as needed; * Complete applications, obtains quotes, negotiates premiums and commissions, prepares proposals and presentations; * Assist in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) insurance due diligence activities for existing clients, including collection of insurance information, summary of data and review of contractual documents as it relates to insurance; * Bind coverage, prepares binders and delegates certificates; * Review coverage, identifies deficiencies and determines appropriate level of coverage; * Meet with clients as needed or directed by producer; * Participate in the claims process as directed by management, including claim submission, follow-up and overall communication; * Review accounting history, responds to accounting inquiries, corrects discrepancies and contacts client on receivable collections; * Serve as technical expert, assisting department members to resolve complex issues; * Responsible for the collection of fees, reconciliation and resolution of any outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing date; * Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information); * Other duties as assigned.
