NUSO, LLC Office Coordinator-HR Generalist in Saint Louis, Missouri

SUMMARY

TheOffice Coordinator/HR Generalistis a dual role responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of the office and supporting various human resources activities. This position ensures the efficient operation of the office and assists in the implementation of HR policies and procedures. This is a hybrid position that requires employee to be in the office at least 3 days a week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Office Coordination:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a well-organized and efficient work environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related queries and issues.
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Oversee the maintenance of office facilities, equipment, and supplies.
  • Help with travel arrangements from time to time.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and presentations.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Event Coordination: Help with the planning and execution of company events, meetings, and training sessions.

Human Resources Generalist:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Assist in employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.
  • Maintain accurate EEO records for reporting purposes.
  • Provide support in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to staff.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve workplace culture and employee engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.

Experience

  • One to two years in office administration preferred. Understanding of HR principles a plus.
  • Recruiting experience a plus.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Communication Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
