Meridian Medical Technologies Maintenance Technician in Saint Louis, Missouri

ROLE SUMMARY

As a general maintenance technician, you will perform interior and exterior preventative and repair maintenance in our St. Louis sites (Brentwood, Bridgeton, and Maryland Heights), including but not limited to general maintenance requests, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and appliances.

Starting Pay Rate is $25.03/hr and increases to $28.03/hr after 90 days.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance and repair needs. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address issues such as plumbing leaks, electrical malfunctions, HVAC problems, and structural defects. Perform building maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and basic plumbing. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to address facility-related concerns and promote a safe and productive work environment. Perform landscaping and ground maintenance tasks, including lawn care, snow removal, and debris cleanup as needed. Performs minor electrical maintenance such as replacement or repair of GFIs, fixtures, circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches, and fuses. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols in all maintenance and repair activities. Other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 3 years general maintenance repair/troubleshooting experience. Ability to perform physical requirements of the job including physical exertions of standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and working at heights. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a trade school program in a relevant field (e.g., electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, or general maintenance) preferred. Proven experience in facility maintenance, repair, and operations, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
