Roseann Mabry from Robert Half is partnering with a client in Chesterfield to place a Logistics Coordinator on a direct hire basis. The Logistics Coordinator will report to the Operations Manager along with several other team members. This position is being added to the company due to growth. This is an excellent time to join the organization! Must have 3 plus years prior experience in logistics movement, freight and scheduling. The Logistics Coordinator is a very important position for the company and the right person will have advancement opportunities in the future. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all supply chain operations.

• Organize and manage inventory, storage, and transportation.

• Analyze and optimize logistical procedures.

• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, retailers, and consumers.

• Resolve any issues or delays to ensure timely deliveries.

• Prepare and manage logistics-related documents.

• Use ERP Solutions for planning and tracking logistics operations.

• Provide excellent customer service, resolving any issues swiftly and maintaining customer satisfaction.

• Prepare and present reports on logistics operations to the Operations Manager.

• Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways.

• Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a logistics coordinator role or similar

• Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Experience with IBM AS/400

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Familiarity with About Time software is a plus

• Excellent customer service skills

• Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures

• Experience with managing deliveries and coordinating logistics

• Ability to create and manage documentation related to logistics and deliveries

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
