Summary

The Graphic Designer assist in the development, design, production, and maintenance of art layouts of company materials through print, digital, and social channels. This position assist in curating the brand voice and tone through copy and content creation. The role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of brand standards, while researching and utilizing new design styles to increase brand awareness and attract existing and new target customers.

Job Duties

  • Assists with developing and maintaining brand standards, voice, logos, artwork, photography, and file libraries.
  • Fulfills day-to-day requests for graphic needs (including but not limited to advertisements, banners, booklets, posters, digital assets, flyers, etc.) from internal and external team members.
  • Collaborates cross-departmentally to identify and determine graphic needs from concept, through approval processes, production, and distribution.
  • Maintains the integrity of brand standards among all assigned tasks and projects.
  • Ensures projects are complete within scheduled timeline and budget, includes working with third party vendors.
  • Performs basic retouching and photo manipulation as needed.
  • Organizes and maintains department design archives for ease of access and use by others.
  • Assists with planning, creating, and implementing email and social content.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by staying current of software programs, attending classes, and reviewing professional publications as needed. Conducts continued research of current trends in design and keeps up to date on new techniques.
  • Assists all departments in the Company by performing additional duties and projects as assigned.
  • Exemplifies a “+1 Service” attitude and provide courteous and friendly service by responding promptly and efficiently to emails, inquiries, and requests from both internal and external team members.
  • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required, preferably in Graphic Design or equivalent. 3-5 years of full-time design work experience, preferably in the marketing space. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.

Technical Skills

Requires strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite in a MAC environment. Requires proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office. Requires ability to receive files, follow art direction and send files to print. Copywriting and content creation experience a plus.
