Actalent Electrical Project Engineer in Saint Louis, Missouri

Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer

Job Description

The electrical engineer will research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment and systems including power/control systems, applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering. This is specific to the hardware components of Controls within the can line industry. Individuals must be interested in design components and less on the software programming side. This individual will be responsible for aligning the machines in an entire operation and be the primary contact on projects.

Hard Skills

  • 3+ years in electrical engineering field

  • AutoCAD and drafting experience beyond a basic level

  • Electrical System design experience (Industrial)

  • Process Knowledge of P&IDs

  • Project Management Experience

  • Design and direct personnel in fabrication of control apparatus and equipment

Soft Skills

  • Highly interested in the hardware side of controls (NOT PLC PROGRAMMING)

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Saint Louis, Missouri with opportunity for hybrid flexibility on an as-need basis.

Work Environment

Work is performed in an office and uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions are possible for short periods of timeā€”such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures. Must be able to travel to jobsites both domestically and internationally; living accommodations in some foreign assignments may not meet expected U.S. standards. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
