CAREGIVER - VA SOUTH & NORTH COUNTY Griswold Home Care for South County & South City Saint Louis is calling all military veterans and non-military to provide home care services to veterans in need. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting veterans with their daily living activities including personal care, medication reminders and companionship. You will also run errands as needed. Clients may receive as little as 4 hours of care, while others require 24-hour care. As a Caregiver, you have the rewarding job of helping veterans live as fully and independently as possible while remaining in the places they love. You competently provide non-medical care and home companionship, helping with various responsibilities such as grocery shopping. With the client’s dignity always at the forefront of your mind, you help veterans maintain proper personal hygiene. You are gentle and professional as you aid with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding. At times, you provide companionship to veterans who have dementia or cognitive impairments. Your kind and patient demeanor serves you well as you ensure they receive the highest quality of care. You carefully complete documentation for each shift, submitting timely updates.
