What to expect in this role on a given day: In this Accounting Manager role, you will have responsibility for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department to include leading and developing a team of accounting professionals, overseeing financial transactions, monthly close process along with producing accurate financial statements. Responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising monthly close process for CSI Leasing, Inc. to include account reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
  • Reviewing financial statements and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP.
  • General review of lease and sale transactions
  • Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
  • Managing the annual external audit process including preparation of schedules and coordination with auditors.
  • Improve systems and procedures to streamline and improve efficiencies.

You will be a good fit for this position if you: Have a bachelors degree in accounting or related field along with 5+ years proven experience in overseeing month end close and developing a team. Bring your strong leadership and technical knowledge, process improvement mindset to take the department to the next level. You will also have:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively lead.
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting and GAAP.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software and databases.
