Saint Francis Indian School 2nd Grade Teacher in Saint Francis, South Dakota
Develop detailed 2^nd^ grade lesson plans and teach students accordingly and develop and locate materials needed for teaching lessons.
Promote a physical classroom environment conductive to learning and work a full day in accordance with state/federal and negotiated policies.
Administer and score 2^nd^ grade tests for the purpose of evaluating the educational program and keep accurate, current records of student achievement and attendance.
Meet health and safety standards in accordance with state laws and is responsible for handling discipline problems.
Refer students for physical, mental, social, and educational services not provided in a regular, self-contained classroom.
Responsible for the development of yearly goals. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education is required. Valid South Dakota Educator Certificate with Self-Contained K-4th Grade Endorsement is required.
