ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Installation of refrigeration systems/piping Installation of walk-in coolers and freezers Installation of food service equipment System start-up/troubleshooting Out of town travel required depending on jobsite location Four (4) day work week ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs other allied duties as assigned by supervisor MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: HVAC/R or Plumbing degree or two years field experience preferred, but not required Good oral and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers' installation instructions and to clearly communicate with commercial customers, suppliers, and company personnel Must have a PLT license or be registered with the state as a Registered Unlicensed PLT or apply for your Registered Unlicensed PLT within 90 days of your start date. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a neat and clean appearance. Interest and initiative in maintaining his/her refrigeration skills through a combination of self-study, corporate training, workshops, and other development activities Valid drivers license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. Ability to work efficiently given time pressures, non-standard schedule, varying customer needs and demands Ability to lift up to 100lbs as necessary and up to 50lbs repetitively. Ability to climb up and down a ladder carrying tools, equipment, and/or parts in a safe manner.
