ST CHARLES COUNTY GOVERNMENT PART-TIME VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR / PUBLIC HEALTH in Saint Charles, Missouri
JOB OVERVIEW:This is a part-time as-needed position for volunteer coordination that may vary in hours and length of service. Candidate should be available to work an estimated 20-30 hours per week. Typical hours would fall between 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday - Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruit, train, track, and schedule volunteers for public health events
- Develop and maintain volunteer database
- Work with local organizations to develop partnerships to recruit and utilize volunteers
- Answer and direct telephone call inquires to the public health hotline - connecting callers to resources as appropriate
- This position may also perform a variety of support functions including procedure development, event scheduling, and training development.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in public health, health care, social services, or similar field
- Two (2) years of general experience, preferably in a clinic, health care, or customer service setting
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- Proof of U.S. citizenship is required.
