Robert Half Staff Accountant in Saint Bonifacius, Minnesota
Description
We are seeking a diligent Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks, including processing financial data, maintaining accurate records, and handling customer inquiries. Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare and post journal entries in the general ledger
• Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliation
• Oversee month-end closing procedures
• Maintain a working knowledge of Infor XA software for accounting purposes
• Keep accurate customer credit records and monitor customer accounts
• Handle customer inquiries and take necessary actions
• Leverage your public accounting experience within a manufacturing, assembly, and distribution environment.
This role does not require CPA certification but having it would be an advantage.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role
• Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrable ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Proficiency in managing General Ledger
• Experience in creating and managing Journal Entries
• Familiarity with Month End Close processes
• Knowledge of Infor XA software is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Working knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
