Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Saginaw, Michigan
Description We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Saginaw, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of all HR functions. This includes areas such as employment, recruitment, employee relations, compensation/benefits, and organizational development.
Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic direction, leadership, and accountability for the HR department
• Manage team member relation matters and resolve issues in line with company policies
• Advise leaders on progressive discipline procedures to ensure fair and equitable treatment for all team members
• Develop and update HR policies, and handle related inquiries
• Implement performance evaluations and advise leaders on the schedule for team member performance evaluations
• Ensure effective communication systems and processes are in place
• Develop strategic talent acquisition plans and training programs
• Coordinate team member engagement activities for the organization
• Update compensation programs, conduct annual salary surveys, and analyze compensation to retain top talent
• Administer benefits including annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness
• Maintain company organization charts and employee directory
• Ensure strategic HR goals align with business initiatives
• Manage all Leave of Absence and FMLA Administration
• Maintain necessary HR documents, records, and reports
• Assist in training and development for all levels within the company. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Manager or in a similar role.
• Proficient in Employee Relations, Hiring Processes, and HR Administration.
• Demonstrated expertise in Compliance, Benefits Administration, Compensation & Benefits, and Talent Acquisition.
• Familiarity with Labor Employee Relations and Performance Evaluations.
• Holds a PHR or SPHR certification.
• Experience with HR Policy development and implementation.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidelines.
• Proven ability to handle Discrimination - EEOC issues.
• Ability to develop and implement effective strategies for Talent Acquisition.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficient in using HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
