The position assists the Environmental, Health, & Safety Team in promoting the environmental, health, and safety of plant operations to assure individual employee well-being and compliance with corporate, local, state, and federal requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and perform Ergonomic Studies throughout plant operations utilizing the HumanTech Software
Manage and conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) of plant operations
Assist with new employee / contractor Safety training
Assist in tracking and presenting monthly Safety and Environmental Metrics
Administer work permits, ensure the work areas are properly prepared, and affected personnel understand the hazards associated with the work to be conducted (HAZCOM)
Author new or review / revise existing EHS guidance documents for accuracy
Assist with IH monitoring and manage necessary supplies
Learn Parker LEAN System and participate in Safety Star Point Team and Kaizen Event
EDUCATION REQUIRED
At least Sophomore level in BS/BA Safety/Environmental Sciences
