Summary: An Inpection A performs diversified inspection of products utilizing pre-determined and prescribed methods and procedures using standardized inspection instruments for the purpose of inspecting mass produced parts in accordance with applicable production and quality standards and meeting customer build specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Visually inspect all parts for missing or incomplete operations.
  • Gage and indicate machined characteristics to quality standards.
  • Deliver to and retrieve parts as required.
  • Perform some lab operations.
  • Parts inspected are both work in process and finished parts.
  • Work from drawings, routers and specifications provided for allowable tolerances.
  • Use micrometers, gauges, overlays, comparator, master/checking fixtures, measuring microscopes and CMM and computer equipment.
  • Ability to recognize, reject, mark or tag defective parts.
  • Operate and use computer equipment and make labels.
  • File finished data sheets to ensure records are accurate.
  • Perform specified equipment maintenance and cleaning.
  • Provide guidance and training to other inspectors.
  • Comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations.

Experience:

  • 3 - 5 Years
