PAY : $22-24/ hr

SCHEDULE: Tuesday - Saturday work week

  • First Shift

  • Tuesday - Friday : 7:30 am - 4 pm

  • Saturday : 6 am - 2:30 pm

  • Eligibility for overtime as needed : Mondays

Main Ingredients of the Job

As a US FOODS® Shipping and Receiving Clerk you will be assisting the warehouse, sales team, customers, and vendors with order placements for pick up or delivery. Perform back up activities throughout warehouse supporting all aspects of shipping and receiving. Activities include data entry of shipping and receiving information, preparation and distribution related reports, or file/records.

  • Process Will Call orders from warehouse with accuracy and support with customer service

  • Schedule receiving appointments with vendors for all inbound freight of warehouse

  • Prepare and update d elivery a ppointment sheet daily for s hipping and r eceiving

  • Responsible for accurate data entry with s hipping and r eceiving information

  • Prepare in-bound documents, preparation and distribution related reports, or file/record maintenance

  • Assign receiving doors for inbound carrier for warehouse

  • Enter in all Purchase Orders and verify all PO’s have been cleared by end of day

  • Manage discrepancy report

  • Schedule all backhauls by coordinating with the Buying department; prepare weekly backhaul report

  • File out of stock and damage claims within warehouse

What you bring to the table


High School Diploma or equivalent required

Preferred 3 years’ experience with warehouse & delivery procedures .


C ommunicate clearly both in writing and verbally

T elephone skills, math skills, and organizational skills

Basic computer skills, and good analytical skills

R esolve routine problems of limited scope
