Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant for upcoming opportunities. If you have a keen eye for detail, profound knowledge of accounting principles, and leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all general ledger transactions and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and analyze periodic financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Coordinate and assist with the annual audit process.
Support budget and forecasting activities.
Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysis.
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e. GAAP, FASB), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.
Assist in the management of tax provision and tax compliance process.
Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines.
Provide training and mentorship to junior staff.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification is preferred.
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or related role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced knowledge of accounting software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
