Description
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist for our manufacturing team in the Greater Sacramento area, this is a hybrid work schedule opportunity. The primary role of the Payroll Specialist will be to manage all aspects of payroll functions, including processing checks, administering benefits, and maintaining accurate employee records. This role will also require proficiency in various payroll and accounting software, including ADP, as well as Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and process multi-state payroll using ADP software
• Administer employee benefits, including 401k
• Oversee check processing and ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time
• Maintain accurate employee records and handle payroll inquiries
• Process international payroll as necessary
• Perform various accounting functions related to payroll
• Use Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets and reports
• Maintain knowledge of current payroll laws and regulations
• Work closely with HR department to ensure all payroll information is up-to-date
Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for maintaining and analyzing payroll records.
• Experience with 401k and RRSP Administration to manage employee retirement plans.
• Understanding of Accounting Functions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions to administer employee benefits accurately.
• Skilled in Check Processing to ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.
• Familiarity with Multi-state Payroll to handle employees in different geographical locations.
• Experience with ADP Payroll system for efficient payroll processing.
• Ability to handle International Payroll to manage employees in different countries.
