Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment in a non-climate controlled plant environment. The technician will disassemble machinery for maintenance or repair, perform functional tests, and ensure machinery operates correctly. Responsibilities also include adjusting and calibrating equipment to optimal specifications, installing new production equipment, and servicing various systems such as boilers, motors, and conveyor systems. The role demands troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, adjusting mechanical parts, welding, fabricating parts for repairs and upgrades, conducting routine maintenance and safety checks, and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams. Preparing and submitting maintenance reports is also a key part of the role.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Sacramento, California.

Work Environment

The position is for the 3rd shift, operating from 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM. The plant is non-climate controlled; temperature varies and can be hot or cold, but is monitored closely. Multiple breaks are allowed during high temperatures, and thirst kits are provided. The environment is loud due to operational washers, dryers, and conveyor systems but maintains a positive, friendly, and upbeat team atmosphere.
