Description

Amanda Warren with Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Sacramento, California. This role is central to our team, providing vital financial analysis, strategic planning, and budgeting functions. The Financial Analyst will be involved in a range of tasks, from developing financial models and dashboards to collaborating with sales executives and other departments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the process of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and quarterly forecasting.

• Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards that support business decision-making.

• Analyze and interpret financial and operational data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.

• Collaborate with sales executives to develop and evaluate sales forecasts and strategies.

• Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and company policies in partnership with the Accounting department.

• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business case development.

• Continuously enhance financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Assist in preparing board presentation data.

• Utilize SQL for data extraction and analysis, and use various accounting software systems to manage accounting functions.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services is required

• Demonstrated experience with CRM, Crystal Reports, and Data Mining Techniques

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Accounting Functions and Accrual Accounting

• Proficiency in Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management

• Must have experience in SQL

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be able to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity

• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees

• Superior presentation skills, ability to explain complex financial subjects in clear and concise terms

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is required

• Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or similar is preferred.
