Job Description

Overview\ The Bid Board Coordinator is responsible for the development and execution of the Traffic Center schedule. High levels of customer service through effective communication and planning are a key function of this role. The dispatcher also works very closely with OTR Drivers, Sales, HQ, and Local Management.

Location:\ 45 Industrial Park Road, Saco, ME,

Working schedule\ * Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM 6:30 PM\ * Salary Overtime eligible.

Responsibilities\ * Answer incoming calls in a professional and pleasant manner.\ * Perform general administrative support work such as running reports, copying, filing, faxing, scanning, etc.\ * Coordinate the delivery of loads by company fleet or local carrier as needed\ * Maintain the Dispatch Tracker (Dispatch timeliness, On-Time delivery; Return timeliness, Tractors that need PM service, changes made to runs, etc.)\ * Block bids to drivers based off their requested bids and seniority\ * Award weekly board\ * Maintain SOX compliance and drive organizational efficiency.\ * Facilitate Run Right Conference Calls between traffic, warehouse, and co-packers to ensure key performance indicators are on target.\ * Adjust delivery sequences in the Dispatch Planning System as necessary.\ * Comply with all Frito Lay record retention guidelines.\ * Make value-added decisions to ensure World Class Service to Sales.\ * Resolve dispatch issues driven by order changes, ship date delays or driver availability.\ * Maintain driver compliance documents.\ * Accounts Payable and Financial Forecasting items\ * Ensure compliance to PepsiCo Global Environmental Health & Safety Standards (GEHSMS):\ * Assist in providing leadership for the implementation, enforcement, and continuous improvement of the Traffic departments environmental, health and safety policies and processes.\ * Support Safety/Environmental program owners and coordinate quarterly program reviews.\ * Conduct HS Investigations for accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, and provide recommendations for process, procedure or equipment changes to eliminate future occurrences.\ * Perform job hazard and job safety analyses, citing specific hazards and methods for remediation.\ * Work with vendors and contractors to ensure compliance to Frito Lay EHS standards and coordinate applicable inspections\ * Comply with all OSHA, EPA, and other related regulatory requirements for documentation and reporting.\ * Maintain Ventiv, Sterling, and AON Data Base\ * Update/Maintain Safety reports and Safety tracking records\ * Management of all EHS records\ * Integration with Pepsico Workers Compensation Team\ * Scheduling of all Workers Compensation appointments\ * Development of employee Ramp-ins\ * Management/tracking of Accident Investigation Packets\ * Manage hearing test processes/record keeping\ * Management Training as needed\ * Facilitation/Management of Safety Team Meetings\ * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications\ * Understanding of transportation ope ations.\ * Understand and communicate DOT Hours of Service (8 day/70-hour rule, 11 hour rule, 14 hour rule).\ * Demonstrate strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.\ * Demonstrate self-motivation, independence and initiative.\ * Strong training skills and the ability to work with deadlines, work under pressure, and be flexible.\ * Capable of prioritizing and completing multiple tasks.
