Job Summary and Qualifications

* This is a PRN position primarily for call coverage Friday and Saturday nights and to fill in as needed for holidays/vacation coverage *

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform and assist with high quality diagnostic, neuro, and vascular ultrasound procedures, focusing on patient care and education. You will help support and achieve departmental goals and effectively participate and promote Excellence Always skills to include service recovery.

What You Will Do in This Role:

• Provide high quality ultrasound procedures

• Maintain appropriate records

• Deliver customer focused care utilizing the Excellence Always Standards to include the transport of patients as necessary to facilitate optimal patient care flow

• Educate patients and families

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate or Certificate of a Professional school of Sonography

• ARDMS Ultrasonographer or ARRT RT required

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Ultrasonographer, or Sonography

• Vascular Sonography, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT)

• 1 year of prior ultrasound experience to include vascular, OB, abdomen, neuro, and/or trauma patients

• Ability to listen, interact, and communicate verbally and in writing
