The Rush United Methodist Church Preschool Lead teacher in Rush, New York

a.Model and reflect at all times the mission and goal of the PromiseLand Child Care program.b.Follow the guidance of the Director yet be able to function in the absence of the Director.c.Be responsible for the guidance of his/her group at all times and keep records on each child’s progress.d.Attend scheduled staff meetings and parent meetings.e.Acquire a minimum of 15 hours of approved professional training each year. f.Work well with parents and other staff to provide the best possible care for children at the center.g.Be responsible for the arrangement, maintenance, cleanliness, and security of the classroom and shared spaces, including toys and equipment.h.Is ultimately responsible to the Director and PromiseLand Board for all that occurs in his/her classroom.i.Participate in school fund-raisers as needed.j.Be open-minded and able to work with many different personalities in a positive manner.k.Model and demonstrate appropriate behavior and dress at all times.l.Lovingly tend to the needs of the children in his/her care, encouraging their confidence and development. Responsibilities include being able to lift a child from the floor and having free mobility of movement

Minimum Salary: 17.00 Maximum Salary: 18.50 Salary Unit: Hourly
