Corewell Health Dietitians Assistant in Royal Oak, Michigan
Job Summary
Assist the dietitian in the planning and implementation of the nutrition care plan, including patient visitation to assist with menu selection, obtain nutrition histories, provide basic diet information and modify tray service as needed. Provide excellent customer service as it relates to Corewell Health standards.
Essential Functions
Patient visitation for assisting with menu selection, providing basic diet guidelines and obtaining diet history.
Act as liaison with patient, dietitians and food service regarding patient needs and meal service related concerns.
Provide follow up to determine if patients are tolerating diets and special needs are being met, making referrals to dietitians as needed. Checking and updating computer files to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Utilize computer system to communicate with food service and maintain accurate records.
Assist in modifying procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Provide excellent customer service as it relates to Corewell Heallh standards
Qualifications
Required Must be able to read, write, speak and communicate effectively in English.
Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year of relevant experience Food service experience or related. Preferred
