Interactive and Visual Design drives the delivery of a world-class user experience throughout the Dell portfolio. We add our expertise to a varied range of cutting-edge projects, focusing on ideation, user-flow analysis, wireframing, interaction, copywriting and content design, visual design, branding and execution. Our input ensures that our customers experience the highest levels of usability, desirability and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate internal technical and non-technical information to compose quality writing in the form of interface text, email messages, campaigns, notification text, and error messages that our customers can understand and use to get the most out of our support and deployment service offers.

  • Champion a content strategy by proactively sharing your vision to leaders, stakeholders, peers, and team members.

  • Inspire our UX team to learn and grow in how they understand and utilize content in their designs and storytelling.

  • Evolve with field of content strategy to stay informed of best practices.

  • Educate and influence teams external to UX Design both informally through daily engagement and 1:1 interaction, and formally through training and related programs.

  • Team with engineering to develop flexible, repeatable processes for content strategy and a consistent voice through our product and services portfolio.

  • Team with analytics and customer-experience leads to ensure that data and customer insights drive content decisions and standards

Essential Requirements

  • Superior editing and proofreading skills, as well as demonstrable professional experience writing for the Web and screen (particularly in global environments).

  • You must have a passion for content strategy and writing as a discipline and customer experience as a shared mission.

  • Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, English, journalism, technical publishing, or related fields, along with

  • 5 +years of hands-on experience in writing, content strategy, and digital publishing.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience working with User Interface, and web prototyping tools

  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS principles
